Three Favorite Aspects of LSM:

The community of peers and upperclassmen to serve as mentors, the career talks to learn about so many different possibilities from professionals in the field, and LSMP 121 and the capstone course which are extremely unique experiences.

What do you think makes the LSM Community unique?

Because it is rather small, you get to know most people in the program. I have gotten to know a lot of upperclassmen who have given me advice on internships, classes to take, studying techniques, etc. that will help me navigate my time at Penn and beyond. Additionally, there is a very strong alumni network that continuously forms and serves as a great resource for current students.

What internships/research have you done?

I worked at Regeneron over the summer after my freshman year in the Clinical Compliance Department.

There, I learned how to work in a professional environment; I got insight into the how the company itself worked; I had the chance to meet with major leaders in the company; I was able to meet and work with students from all over the world interested in pharma; I heard from patients whose lives were changed by products that Regeneron created.
I also did research throughout high school and in the summer before my freshman year at Stony Brook University.

What extracurricular activities do you do?

I'm a member of the Penn Dance Company, a member of Wharton Ambassadors, a Wharton 101 TA, involved in Greek life, and also a Penn Undergraduate Biotech Society (PUBS) Finance committee member.
