Pia is a proud member of the first graduating class of the Vagelos Life Sciences and Management Program (2010). She started her career in biotech investment banking, with both capital markets and M&A experience at Houlihan Lokey, Leerink and Moelis. In 2017, she moved to Boston to join Bain Capital as a founding member of their new Life Sciences fund, where she worked on a variety of private financings across therapeutic areas. While at Bain, she had the distinct opportunity to facilitate the spin-out of Pfizer’s neuroscience portfolio into a CNS-focused Bain-sponsored company that became Cerevel Therapeutics. Pia eventually joined Cerevel in Corporate Finance and Investor Relations where she saw the company through its public market debut, multiple clinical data readouts and a successful follow-on offering. Most recently in April 2022, Pia joined Arcus Biosciences, a diversified clinical-stage oncology company, as Head of Investor Relations and Strategy.
